I've finally decided on my topic question!
'Explain the importance of Plato's Cave Theory in the understanding of western philosophy.'
ive been taking notes from podcasts I've been listening to.
Im thinking about the structure of my essay and what it will include:
- Intro of topic
- Brief history on Plato and who he was
- What is the Cave theory and its meaning
- How it relates to the different philsophical spectrums, eg. scepticism.
- What affect it had and has on the understanding of philosophy and the different questions it raises.
the podcasts have been really interesting, most of them extend further then Plato and his contributions, but all relavant in my basic understanding of philosophy.
Mr Wright! Any thoughts on the structure/ paragraph topics?
